Geneva
[French: Genève, German: Genf, Italian: Ginevra, Romansh: Genevra]
is the second most populous city in Switzerland (after Zürich), and is the most populous city of Romandy (the French-speaking part of Switzerland). It is situated where Lake Geneva (French Lac Léman) flows into the Rhône River, and is the capital of the Republic and Canton of Geneva. Geneva is widely regarded as a global city, mainly due to the presence of numerous international organizations, including the headquarters of many of the agencies of the United Nations. A 2007 survey found Geneva to have the second highest quality of living in the world (after Zürich).

I am proud of being able to live in Geneva. I have waited for years to get this opportunity and in 2006 I was finally able to make my move to this wonderful city. In the sub-pages of this section I published some useful information about Geneva, listed some tips for places to visit, some tips about clubs to visit in nightlife and an overview of activities this summer in Geneva. If you haven't made your holiday plans yet: consider Switzerland! After reading these pages, I am sure you will understand why I am so proud of living in this metropole...
