The Swiss National Day. August 1st is to the Swiss what July 4th is to Americans, or July 14th to the French. Speeches, paper lantern parade, patriotic show, bonfire and fireworks.

The highlight of the summer season, with fun fair, entertainment, concerts, world food and craft, plus famous fireworks of international renown.

On August 4 dès 1:30pm: Rowing Sprint Cup.
On August 5: 3rd SlowUp.
On August 11 at 10pm: Geneva's world famous fireworks.
On August 12 at 1pm: Elegance parade, a great classic car show and at 3:30pm, Traditional Café Waiters' Race.

As a prelude to the Geneva Festival that will start on 2 August, the English Garden will host free open-air concerts every night with drink and food stalls all around. From 19 July 2007 to 1 August 2007, location: English Garden.
